Yang with Acramatic 2100 Control
It was a pleasure to work on this old girl today. I felt very nostalgic working on this Yang with Acramatic 2100 control.
20 years ago, these were a regular sight in many machine shops; however, they are now becoming quite rare. In our opinion, they are a brilliant control, way ahead of their time.
This one, coupled with Siemens 611U drives, has been a bit troublesome of late.
After careful diagnosis, we fitted replacement X and Y axis cables and a new 2x25A LT module, followed by a tune of the X and Y axis’ (P-gain P1407) using online drive software SinucomU.
We then thoroughly tested the machine and concluded it was back to full health. We don’t care how old your machine tool is, we will do our best to fully support it.

Working on a local job today, our customer was complaining of intermittent B-axis encoder faults on his XYZ 1060HS with the 4th and 5th axes and 840DSL control.
When the X axis was fully at limit, the wiring harness on the 4th and 5th axes was getting pulled and faulting out.

This week I have been working on a Takisawa T10 lathe that wouldn’t power up. I was able to quickly diagnose the problem as a faulty hydraulic pump.
Control CNC does not stock these units, but we were able to source one from one of our UK suppliers and arrange for delivery to our customer the following morning.
