Mazak UK Cadet Scheme
Proud day today! Here is one of the next generation engineers in the making! My 14-year-old daughter was one of a select few invited to attend the Mazak UK Cadet Scheme, spending a working week at their UK facility in Worcester. She has spent the day disassembling and reassembling a small spindle in the spindle workshop.
During her week here, she will be welding, fabricating, soldering, machining, and assembling, to name a few.
This is a fantastic partnership that Mazak UK does with local schools, which introduces our younger generation not only to Mazak products but also to engineering and the whole manufacturing process. She’s come home absolutely buzzing with excitement and can’t wait for “work” tomorrow. I am a very proud dad today!
